My demons and I project #depressionawareness
Some days the weight feels unbearable, like my demons are too strong to fight. But I’ve learned this: being who I am means accepting every part of me—the light and the dark. I won’t let fear define me because I know every battle brings me closer to healing.
☀️ It’s not always sunny, and that’s okay. Storms don’t last forever, and tomorrow holds the promise of something better.
✨ Embrace the journey, trust the process, and never give up on yourself. 🌙
📸 For these shots, I used my Nikon Z6ii paired with a 50mm lens and occasionally the 24-200mm for wider perspectives. I experimented with long exposure (12 seconds) to capture light trails and mood. I made my room completely dark and used a small light source to create the dramatic lighting effects.
The camera was mounted on a tripod, and I triggered the shots remotely using the SnapBridge app.
“If you’re struggling with depression and it feels like there’s no way out, please don’t forget—you’re not alone. Talk to someone, reach out for help. The light is still there, even if it’s hard to see right now. You’re stronger than you realize, and better days are waiting for you.✨” #icnphotography
